Scientists from the Wroclaw University of Technology have published data regarding the Viral papain-like cysteine protease (PLpro, NSP3). Viral papain-like cysteine protease is essential for SARS-CoV-2 replication and represents a promising target for the development of antiviral drugs. The results were published in Science Advances.
