National COVID-19 data hub
and research platform

About us

The ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 virus (SARS-CoV-2) is a direct threat to human health and life worldwide. An effective response to the pandemic requires coordinated cooperation of the international scientific community.

To facilitate the exchange of information and accelerate research, the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) together with partner institutions launched the COVID-19 Data Platform- a common space for sharing and analyzing data on SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19.

As part of this initiative, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan together with the affiliated Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center acts as the national data hub responsible for COVID-HUB-PL – a platform for the construction and integration of national scientific, medical and epidemiological data repositories, and joining them with COVID-19 Data Platform.

COVID-HUB-PL platform contains both open-access and restricted data. Additionally, COVID-HUB-PL supports research on COVID-19 by providing comprehensive solutions for data analysis.
