Polish scientists have proposed an innovative and fully automated approach to the analysis of X-ray images of the lungs of people with COVID-19 using machine learning. It has been shown that image pre-processing methods based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) helped to better diagnose and classify COVID-19 (F1 index increase from 93% to over 97%) among X-ray images of healthy people or people with pneumonia.
